Role Overview:
This position requires regular collaboration with various departments, especially the equity investment and fundraising teams. Other key internal stakeholders include Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal Services.

Reporting to a senior team member and working alongside a junior colleague, the successful candidate will:
- Take operational responsibility for the deal allocation process, including organizing and eventually leading internal allocation meetings, drafting meeting minutes, verifying data quality, reviewing documents, and preparing rationale for allocation decisions.
- Contribute to the advancement and refinement of the deal allocation model (developed in Alteryx and Tableau).
- Assist in creating tools and dashboards to streamline the deal allocation process.
- Update and improve documentation related to the deal allocation process and model as necessary.
- Conduct data quality analysis on equity mandates’ investment preferences by reviewing investment criteria provided by teams and cross-referencing them with the model’s variables.

- Accurate and timely execution and documentation of the deal allocation process.
- Development of additional tools and dashboards to facilitate the allocation process.
- Regular updates or enhancements to process-related documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, European Studies, Economics, Engineering, or a similar field.
Professional Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of financial institutions and markets.
- Familiarity with financial institution products, especially within the equity sector.
- Knowledge of the EU's scope, institutions, and policy objectives is advantageous.
Technical Proficiency:
- Competence in standard IT tools (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with advanced Excel features or other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, Tableau) is a plus.
Experience:
- Previous experience in data analysis, finance/banking, consultancy, or public institutions (e.g., development banks or national promotional institutions).
- Background in project management and coordination.
Key Competencies:
- Strong skills in drafting, analysis, and synthesis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of additional EU languages is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently under pressure, and meet strict deadlines while ensuring high-quality output.
- A balanced approach to working independently and seeking guidance when required.
