Job Offer: Officer, Credit Risk
Our client is seeking an experienced Officer, Credit Risk for a 1-year temporary assignment within the Credit Risk and Governance team, coordinated by the Lead Senior Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing and monitoring a range of issuers and counterparties, advancing credit risk methodologies, performing quantitative credit risk analyses (including climate risk scenario assessments), and contributing to the development of credit risk reports for senior management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to the assessment of counterparties, such as financial institutions, central clearing counterparties, sovereigns, and government-related entities.
Support the enhancement of credit risk measurement methodologies (Credit Value-at-Risk, Expected Shortfall).
Further develop climate risk scenarios related to sovereign exposures within the portfolio.
Monitor and assess the credit risk of a selection of issuers and counterparties.
Assist in the preparation of credit risk reports for risk committees on investment portfolios and counterparty exposures.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Advanced degree in finance, risk management, economics, business administration, or a related field.
At least five years of relevant experience in risk management, credit ratings, financial supervision, financial stability, or economic analysis.
Strong understanding of credit risk methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
Excellent verbal and written English skills; additional languages would be an asset.
Experience in complex data management techniques is a plus.
Experience managing cross-departmental projects would be an advantage.
